Overlay mesh & protocol

DaaS-IoT is a portable software stack layered over your existing Wi-Fi, Ethernet and Bluetooth — not another broker. Nodes discover, synchronize and route on their own.

Building blocks

Nodes & segments

A node (DIN) lives in a segment (SID). Segments are the unit of discovery and addressing on the mesh.

Drivers

Pluggable transports. A node can hold several and switch between them transparently on failure.

DDO wire format

A compact typed datagram with a ≤32-byte header — the reason mesh traffic drops ~80%.

Routing

Decentralized, multi-hop, with no central gateway and therefore no single point of failure.

dATS consensus

Self-synchronizing timing that keeps nodes in agreement without a coordinator.

Self-provisioning

Nodes autonomously discover peers and provision themselves into the segment.
